Privacy policy
sireto.com uses no cookies and no session recording. This page explains what we do process, why, and what you can ask of us.
Who is responsible
Sireto B.V. (KvK 73807508), Netherlands, is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions and requests go to [email protected].
No cookies, no tracking across sites
sireto.com sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser: no local storage, session storage or similar. We do not use advertising, social media pixels or third-party trackers, and we do not record sessions. Fonts are served from this site, so viewing a page sends no request to a font service.
Visitor statistics
We count visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves, so the data stays with us. For each page view it receives the page address, the referring page, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language, and your IP address. The IP address is used only to estimate your country and city and is not stored. We look at these figures in aggregate to see which pages are useful.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, the statistics script does not run at all.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
Delivery and security by Cloudflare
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., which protects it against attacks and abuse. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the technical details of each request to do so. Cloudflare also measures page load performance with its cookieless Web Analytics. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (article 6(1)(f)).
The contact form
When you write to us, we receive your name, email address, organisation if you give one, the topic and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry. Messages are delivered to an internal channel on Discord (Discord Inc.), where our team reads them.
To keep the form free of spam, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which loads once you start filling in the form and checks that you are a person using signals from your browser and your IP address. Our server also keeps your IP address in memory for one hour to limit how many messages can be sent from one connection. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.
The legal basis is taking the steps you ask for before a possible agreement (article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and preventing abuse (article 6(1)(f)). We keep your message for as long as we need it to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
You can also simply email us at [email protected].
Who else receives data
We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. Cloudflare and Discord process data on our behalf as described above. Both are based in the United States; transfers there are covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, and to correct, delete or restrict it, to receive it in a portable form, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected]; we answer within one month.
You may also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
